A great learning app that I’ve started using with my students is Kahoot. This app allows you to create learning games and then share it with friends to compete with one another.
Simply working through workbooks, doing grammar, and vocabulary quizzes can be tedious. So trying something different can really help the learning process.
Kahoot utilizes three elements that are effective. First, it is simple to set up and use. Two, it gets our competitive juices flowing which is a great motivation for many people. Three, it’s fun so you don’t feel like you’re in a boring classroom learning rules and grammar.
I use it to review vocabulary we’ve learned in lessons as well as a way to practice grammar. It’s free to use, so who’s ready for a Kahoot challenge?
